(Tacoma, WA.) Lauren McHugh joins the SureSister.com Ambassador team with broad experience in Panhellenic management including Panhellenic President at the University of New Hampshire and current Panhellenic Council Co-Advisor at Ball State University. Lauren also served her collegiate chapter of Alpha Xi Delta Women’s Fraternity as Panhellenic Delegate and Recruitment Assistant.
Lauren holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration (Marketing and Finance) from the University of New Hampshire. She will complete her masters degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education (Ball State University) in July 2010.
Sunday Tollefson, founder of SureSister.com, met Lauren at the 2010 Association for Fraternal Leadership & Values Conference (AFLV-Central). “Lauren initially approached me seeking resources for Panhellenic officers. We kept in touch and Lauren learned of our Ambassador opportunity. Her subsequent application showed she understands it is imperative Panhellenic officers implement programming to improve the recruitment experience. Lauren gets it.”
SureSister.com is one of the few businesses helping Panhellenic councils focus on potential members. Because of this, Lauren places great value on the opportunity to partner with the firm. “I love working with sorority women and sorority recruitment,” Lauren says. She has also identified several ways to expand outreach to Panhellenic leaders. “I see big growth coming with the rapidly changing area of technology.”
Sunday agrees, citing requests from Panhellenic leaders for tools to help potential members. “Lauren will lead us in designing interactive modules to help young women prepare before their first sorority recruitment conversation.”
SureSister.com was founded in 2008 to help young women enter sorority recruitment as informed, prepared, confident candidates. SureSister.com founder Sunday Tollefson is the author of RUSH RIGHT: Reveal Your Best YOU During Sorority Recruitment.
